Bodywork
– Bodywork sessions start with a full assessment of your posture and movement, allowing your therapists to hone in on key problem areas that are likely to be at the root of your pain. Skills and techniques can range from myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, stretching, and movement, all in order to reduce pain, free up tension, improve posture, and return the structure back to its original state. Bodywork is intended for people looking to reduce stress and tension, but more importantly, feel better and more pain free in their bodies.
Myofascial Release
NMT is a style of work that targets deep intramuscular tension through deep glides, static, deep compressions, and positional release. NMT is best for chronic pain, long standing soft tissue pathologies and acute pain, flexibility, and general sports recovery.
Neuromuscular Therapy
NMT is a style of work that targets intramuscular tension through deep glides, static, deep compressions, and positional release. NMT is best for chronic pain, long standing soft tissue pathologies and acute pain, flexibility, and general sports recovery.
Cupping
Cupping is manual therapy through cups, often suctioning tissue away from deeper layers of tension and offering a unique and often much needed release in areas of tension and restriction. Cupping is best for sports recovery, releasing tissue that is “stuck together” and those hard to stretch places. Cupping is also good for general improvements in circulation, and better tissue mobility.
Consultation
A consultation is designed to help us understand what you would like addressed. After listening to your needs we will employ various assessments to determine if what we offer can help in any way.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy (IASTM)
IASTM is a form of manual therapy that utilizes tools to scrape adhesive tissue, release scars, and release stubborn areas of injury, and melt exercise induced tension. Good for scar tissue release, post-surgical rehab, sports injuries, and body contouring.

Ragan has helped my neck pain more than the doctors and physical therapy. I cannot recommend him highly enough. A true healer.
Born with an innate drive to understand the peak functionality and health of the body. Ragan Waren began his career as a professional chef which lasted for fifteen years. Seeking to understand the body and its own ability to heal and be healed. Regan packed a backpack and spent two years traveling around the globe learning with healers and shamans all over South America and Asia. Upon returning to the state, Ragan enrolled and graduated from the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork.
Believing that to be a good healer you must be a good student, Ragan took advantage of the school’s open door policy and attend the bodywork course three times (which is a blend of neuromuscular therapy and myofascial release work)and was then invited to come on as part of the faculty where he assists classes and leads study group.
Ragan found himself working with high performance athletes and dove in to learning innovative techniques to get peak performance outcomes. Still seeking to heal the body on a larger level he began training in Cranio-Sacral therapy which has become his main focus and greatest passion.
Ragan believes that to achieve balance in the body it requires not only manual therapy but an education in the movement process required to facilitate neural re-patterning leading to balanced alignment.
“More happens outside of the treatment room that on the massage table. Massage creates a window for change and we must capitalize on that change by integrating that work in to the body with movement. Decreasing pain, improving performance and maintaining posture is a lifelong commitment.
