DAY 1

Arrival in Bwindi

  • Transfer to Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge.

DAY 2

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

  • Early breakfast.
  • Gorilla trek with expert trackers.
  • Spend one hour with gorilla family.
  • Return to lodge for lunch, dinner, and overnight.
DAY 3

Return to Entebbe

  • Breakfast at lodge.
  • Transfer to Kisoro Airstrip.
  • Aerolink flight to Entebbe (8:45 AM – 11:25 AM).
DAY 1

Arrival in Bwindi

Arrive at Entebbe, board Aerolink flight to Kisoro. On arrival, transfer to Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge (FB). Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

DAY 2

Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast, embark on gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Once a group is found, spend one magical hour with gorillas. Return for lunch at lodge. Dinner and overnight at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge (FB).

DAY 3

Return to Entebbe

Breakfast at lodge. Transfer to Kisoro Airstrip for flight back to Entebbe.

You will use Kisoro Airstrip, which is a short domestic flight from Entebbe. From there, a lodge representative will transfer you to Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge.

The trek is moderately challenging and involves walking through steep and uneven rainforest terrain. It can last 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorilla group’s location, so a reasonable level of fitness is recommended.

You will stay in a Garden Cottage at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, surrounded by lush forest with full board meals included.

Superb support from Oliver and his team. The trip was worth the money spent. Guides and the COO, Oliver, demonstrate why it’s important to have a knowledgeable guide. We saw the Big Five, enjoyed early-morning wildlife activity, and experienced both minivan and LandCruiser safaris. Communication in Spanish and English was excellent. Overall, an enjoyable tour with great hotels and meals.
