Chili is a longtime surfer with a heart for teaching, while Scott brings years of experience in ocean safety and youth education. Together, they created a surf school where everyone, no matter their age or experience, can learn in a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. What began as a few boards and a big dream has grown into a trusted local surf school with a strong reputation in the New Smyrna Beach community. Today, Surf Check is more than just lessons, it\u2019s about building confidence, creating memories, and inspiring a lifelong love for the ocean. All lessons include surfboards, rash guards, and helpful instruction from our friendly, certified coaches. But the fun doesn\u2019t stop there! We also offer Surf Check apparel, equipment rentals, and tasty, healthy post-surf snacks to refuel after your session.
