Morehead City is home. Before Marker 3 was an idea, it was a feeling. a sense of place you get when you turn into the waterfront from the east and pass Channel Marker 3. That moment of arrival, of being where you’re supposed to be, became the heart of everything we wanted to build .
Marker 3 was created for people who want more than a menu. We envisioned a space that locals could love and tourists could stumble into and remember forever. We wanted a place where brunch isn’t limited to weekends, where the bar has personality, and where the people serving your food are genuinely glad you came in.
The name Marker 3 is a nod to our nautical surroundings, but it’s also about knowing where you are. You’ve arrived. Whether you’re here for a drink, a meal, or the music, Marker 3 is the kind of place that becomes part of your routine. Or your vacation story. Or both.

Game days bring in the purple and gold. ECU fans show up hungry, loud, and ready for a good time. Our screens are on, our staff’s in team spirit mode, and the kitchen keeps the energy high.
