About Us

Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution. Quality is exactly what this company consistently produces. Rileys Car Products was started in 2004 in Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. Charles Riley, creator of Rileys Car Products, started the company with the mission of providing the automotive industry with quality car care products suited for todays hi-tech automobiles. After over 25 years of car cleaning and detailing experience, he observed the lack of dependable quality car products on the market, which motivated him to start his own company. Rileys Car Products provides top notch services and products for all cars and specializes in: compound and waxing, shampooing, chrome rim restoration, head lamp restoration, and thorough hand washing. Detailing cars is not only Mr. Rileys specialty, but his passion; and with many years of experience, the proof is definitely in the pudding.

Charles Riley, also known as Mr. Shine, was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina. At a young age, Charles discovered his love for detailing and began practicing his skills. His goal was to one day become one of the heavy hitters in the automotive industry. In 1981, Mr. Riley began his professional career as a car detailer for a detailing shop in Orangeburg S.C. After just a short year, he opened his own detailing shop and quickly earned strong customer traffic. Customers took notice to his top quality services and abilities to tackle difficult jobs. After 12 years of successfully running his detail shop in Orangeburg, Mr. Riley decided to take his shop to a bigger market. In 1994, he moved to Columbia, South Carolina and opened Mr. Shine Car Care. His shop quickly grew in popularity and became known as the premiere car detailing location. Mr. Riley found himself cleaning about 3,500 cars a month, including those of notables such as Sean Garrett, Deuce Staley, Stephen Davis, Xavier McDaniel, Mark King of The Money Source, and The Bill Sims Company just to name a few. After seeing such success with Mr. Shine Car Care, Charles knew that it was time to expand his brand. In 2004, after over 25 years of successfully running his detailing business, Mr. Riley started Rileys Car Products.

Following his new company launch, he also developed his own brand of car products. The first ever Rileys Complete Auto Detailing Kit comes with everything you need to fully and effectively detail your own automobile. After using his own products for many years, Mr. Riley knew it was time to share this best kept secret with the world. Today, Rileys Car Products continues to successfully stand as the go-to auto detailing and products shop in South Carolina, and one of the premiere entities in the south east. If youre in town, stop by and see why he has so many satisfied customers!
