Restored by Love provides a judgment-free zone where individuals can share without criticism. RBL encourages and promotes training that helps to develop and enhance the self-esteem of those who have experienced brokenness. Restored by Love desires to impart hope and assist individuals in realizing that God has a specific purpose for their lives.

Restored by Love Ministries founder Min. Debra A. Smith, the circumstances surrounding marital separation left me with a sense of abandonment, which was accompanied by rejection, hurt, loss, and no sense of purpose. There was also some embarrassment, shame, and guilt due to the stigma associated with a relationship that had gone wrong!

Although it took me some time to snap back, I did, and it was during the healing process that I realized the following:

  1. I am not the only person feeling abandoned.
  2. People need a safe place to express themselves.
  3. Overcoming hardship is possible.
  4. Healing is obtainable through the love of God.

I started a weekly prayer line in April 2012 to inspire, encourage, and restore the broken-hearted. Initially, RBL was developed for women, but it has become a place of renewal for men. We desire to exhibit God’s character in our daily lives, spreading His love to all we encounter! All things are possible to them that believe, Mark 9:23. It was by the power of God’s Love that I was restored, and today, I am no longer broken, and so can you!
