Training and Work Experience

Attended Brownsville School District – upon graduation I was hired as a Homevisitor and secretary in Central Middle School & Homer Hanna High School.  Moved to Austin, TX worked at St. Eduard’s University-Austin, TX as the Secretary to the Campus Priest and to the Academic Dean. Also, worked as Secretary to the Director of Health Occupations and the Director of Vocational Office Education VOE with the Texas Education Agency.  While still employed I attended different universities and obtained a Texas education Certification and have also worked at some Christian Schools:  Cornerstone, Fortress Church, Grace Christian Academy teaching in all grades from Kinder to 12th grade.  While working I obtained a Masters Degree in Theology and became an Ordained Minister with Vision International University.

In 2012 I moved back to Brownsville and started a ministry to connect churches from all denominations.  Before I left San Antonio the Lord gave me the name House of Prayer & Evangelism (H.O.P.E.) for my new ministry outreach.  I registered the name and also obtained the 501 c.3 non-profit status for the HOPE Ministries.  I started contacting the churches talking to the Pastors, and organized a group called House of Prayer & Evangelism (H.O.P.E.).  The group was made up of representatives from all churches – different denominations.  We started meeting and became a strong group helping evangelize.

After Corona virus epidemic the HOPE Ministries dissolved and did not continue to meet.  I moved back to San Antonio in 2024.
