Double Doodle Darlings is a family-based program dedicated to breeding healthy and happy doodles, enriching the lives of their forever families with unconditional love. We believe every puppy deserves a loving home.They need to be cherished and even a bit spoled!

We are a family of animal lovers. My sister is a lifelong Labrador Retriever hobby breeder. My son, with a decade of doggy daycare and boarding experience, also shares this passion. I’ve been an over-the-road truck driver for 20 years, but now, in my retirement, I look forward to a rewarding new venture.

Over the past 5 years, we’ve laid the groundwork, researched, and educated ourselves about Labradoodles, driven by my sister’s breeding experience. Doodles, designer breeds, result from mixing purebred poodles with other dogs like Labrador Retrievers. The key appeal is their hypoallergenic and non-shedding qualities.

After thorough research, I adopted two female Labradoodles, Saffron and Groovy, both f1b littermates, meaning they are 75% poodle and 25% Labrador Retriever, making them 100% non-shedding and hypoallergenic. Genetic testing cleared them for over 200 genetic markers. Now, they’re over 2 years old and ready for our program.

Finding the right stud was our next mission. Extensive research led us to a DNA-tested, purebred doodle that had to win my mother’s heart. Finally, it happened when we found Leonardo, an f1b Bernedoodle. For my mother it was love at first sight!

Our family was complete, and our venture began with our unique hybrid Designer Double Doodle Darlings, a cross between an f1b labradoodle and an f1b bernedoodle. Our first litter was born on June 25, 2023, to Groovy and Leonardo, resulting in six beautiful, healthy bundles of love.
