According to  1 Corinthians 13:4-7…Love is patient and kind, and it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil. But rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, trusts, always hopes, and perseveres. Love never fails!

The Love of God is not exclusive; it is available to everyone. It’s true that we all have our biases, but despite these, unconditional Love is within reach for us all. Did you know that every person in this world, an estimated 8.2 Billion, has the opportunity to receive this incredible Love? The key is to turn to God!

No, I am not saying that there are no patient, kind, non-envious, easily angered people out there who hold no records of wrongs. The ability to find someone who can show every single person in this world the same amount of Love would be difficult. You know who can!

In a time where we currently find ourselves in a world where racial tension is on the rise. I am not saying that there is more, but the attacks have become more visible with more social platforms. We can see blatant acts as they occur, which seems to have stimulated an increase in hatred rather than Love!

Love keeps no record, but people do. Love is not rude, but sometimes we are. Love is not self-seeking; stand down. It’s not all about you! Love is not proud. I am sure that you have crossed paths with those who have looked down on you or you on someone else! Sometimes, we all say we have if we are sincere.

Anger and hatred are strong emotions. Can we agree? I encourage us not to let anger hinder us from letting go and walking in forgiveness. Try responding in a manner that imitates the Love documented in 1 Corinthians 13. I ask that we make a conscious effort not to allow pride, our past, fear, or pain to diminish all that has been attempted in hopes of creating a world where all are equal.

Love is not confined by color, race, or person. It’s not limited to a specific group, religion, or financial status. Love is universal! Being kind is not always easy, especially in the face of hurt and mistreatment. But we must remember that love is a force to be reckoned with! It has the power to transform and heal.

Love is not just a feeling; it’s a necessity. Love gives us hope. God’s Love is a balm that can heal all wounds and remove all blemishes. It’s time to wrap ourselves in the comforting embrace of God’s Love!

” Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matthew 11:29. Many are hurting, and change is needed, but allow God’s Love to lead us to the victory we deserve.
